Holo’s platform is iteratively built using Holo’s own operational experience - it is in use daily on Holo’s routes and is continually developed based on what we learn.

The Holo platform consists of several different products - all with the aim of making it possible to operate autonomous vehicles as efficiently and safely as possible. The Holo platform supports vehicles from multiple vendors (in the air and on the ground) and is fully modular in its design.

Safety Steward app

Holo’s Safety Steward app is a tool for our safety steward in the vehicle. Our custom-built app lets the safety steward manually collect irregular/missing data during operation. This means that Holo has a unique perspective on vehicle data - because we can combine it with human observations to identify issues and solve problems. The safety steward app is customisable and is configured for each route in collaboration with Holo’s customers, to make sure we track issues that are important for the customer and the local area.

Follow portal

Holo’s Follow portal allows anyone with a web browser to follow our vehicles in real-time.

On Follow you can see active vehicles, schedules, and more. A helpful tool to stay updated on what is going on across Holo’s routes. The Follow portal can be customised and integrated into existing web pages.

Supervision UI

The Supervision UI is Holo’s tool for real-time monitoring of operations. Our supervisors can monitor the operational state of Holo’s vehicles and help troubleshoot from a distance.

Holo is currently working on extending the functionality of the Supervision UI to support teleoperations and dispatch management.

Analytics

Holo collects data from many different sources to understand and optimise autonomous operations. To properly analyse the data and find interesting patterns, Holo has built specialised dashboards that combine data sources to reveal new insights.

Our use of data analysis extends to our collaboration with customers and authorities - we share data to improve performance and prove that our vehicles are operating safely.

Holo API

Holo provides a standardised API where all key data types can be accessed and integrated into the systems of our customers and partners. Holo’s API is built on industry best practices - including versioning, performance, and stability.

Maintenance management

The Holo fleet of vehicles is integrated with Fleetio software to keep track of spare parts and vehicle maintenance. The fleet manager is used to perform preventive maintenance and ensure the highest possible uptime for our vehicles.

Vehicle vendor integrations

As the operator and implementer of autonomous vehicles, Holo wants to receive many different types of data from the autonomous vehicles that we operate. The data is used to monitor operations - and to document and improve performance and safety for our customers.

Holo works closely with multiple vehicle vendors to build data integrations, providing continuous feedback to vendors to help them design a useful and stable API.

Custom integrations

If the standard Holo API is not enough, Holo can easily provide custom integrations to integrate data into legacy or specialised systems. Previous development in this area includes integrations into legacy dispatch management systems and traffic monitoring systems.

When development is done, Holo’s autonomous vehicles are available in legacy systems, just like any other vehicle.
